„Got any questions?“

...I thought as much.

Do you have questions about your stay, your booking, or just in general? No problem – we've gathered the most common ones for you and answered them in a relaxed manner.

How do I get to the hotel?

It’s easy: When you arrive in Hinterglemm, turn right just before the pedestrian zone – follow the signs to the “Reiterkogel” underground car park. Don’t worry: Don’t enter the garage, just drive straight through (follow the road). Then take another left, and voilà – you’ll find yourself right in front of my entrance, in the heart of Hinterglemm.

For check-in, feel free to park your car right in front of the hotel. My maintenance team will gladly help you with your luggage and then park your car safely in my garage. Good old-fashioned service – just the way it should be.

How do I get to the hotel garage?

With a little sense of direction and your room key in hand, you’ll find the perfect home for your car in no time. Step out of my main entrance and turn right, then walk about 200 metres straight ahead – past the Reiterkogel underground garage. Just across from Hotel Kerii, a small wooden bridge on the left will catch your eye. Cross it and head uphill – and there it is: my hotel garage. Access is reserved for you and your room key.

And the best part? When it’s time to leave, no key needed – just drive right out, the gate already knows who you are.

Where can I charge my electric car?

Sure, I’ve got the power! You’ll find four charging stations in my in-house garage. For € 17.00 per charge, I’ll top up your car while you enjoy your stay. Just drop your car key and a quick note at my reception – I’ll take care of the rest. Your car charges up, and you do the same. Sounds like a fair deal, doesn’t it?

When can I check in?

Officially, your room is guaranteed to be ready from 2:00 PM – fresh, tidy and waiting just for you. If you’d like to arrive earlier, an early check-in is possible depending on availability – for € 39.00 per room, I’ll gladly welcome you a little ahead of time.

And if it’s still too early: no worries! I’ll take care of your luggage, park your car, and open up my wellness area for you – so you can start relaxing right away. And for € 25.00 per person, you can even enjoy a delicious breakfast on your arrival day. That’s what I call a smooth start to your holiday.

Where is the nearest bus stop?

Just step out of my main entrance, turn right and walk straight ahead for about five minutes – nice and easy, no uphill climb. Then turn left and cross the big bridge. Right behind it, you’ll find the brand-new bus terminal in Hinterglemm. On Google Maps, it’s called “Familienpark & Adventure Minigolf” – but for you, it’s simply the spot where the buses are waiting.

I'm arriving at 11pm – what should I do?

No worries – I’m night-owl friendly. If you’re arriving after 9 pm, your room key (including the room number) will be waiting for you – either at my bar or tucked away near the back entrance. You can open the door using the card reader with your key. I’ll send you an email beforehand with all the late check-in info, so you know exactly where to go – even if I’m already off dreaming of breakfast. Checking in after hours? Totally relaxed.

I won’t make it back in time for dinner – is there an alternative?

Of course! Just give my reception a quick call in advance, and we’ll work out a solution that suits both your taste and mine. Whether it’s a cold plate, a soup to go, or a little Glemmtalerhof-style kitchen detour – with a bit of notice, we’ll make it work deliciously.

By the way: My à la carte service is available daily from 11.00 am to 10.00 pm – with hot dishes served until 9.00 pm at the latest. So even if you're arriving late but still hungry, we’ve got you covered.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

Unfortunately not – dogs aren’t allowed in the hotel restaurant. But don’t worry, I’ve got a simple solution for you: if you’d like to bring your four-legged friend to breakfast or dinner, I’ll happily reserve a table for you in my à la carte restaurant “Pfeiferl”. The walk to breakfast is a bit longer there – but you’ll still enjoy your evening menu, and your dog gets to stay by your side. Sounds like a fair deal, right?

Allergies and intolerances within the half-board offer – what should I do?

Let’s be honest: I do my very best – and that starts before you even arrive. If you let me know in advance about any allergies or intolerances, I’ll gladly note them in your guest profile. Once you’re here, please speak directly with my service team. Don’t be shy – the more we know, the better we can react. And let’s face it: a real conversation beats any database.

Important to know: I’m not a certified allergy-friendly hotel – but I try hard. Within the half-board framework, I’m happy to offer alternatives. Which ones suit you best? That’s up to you. After all, no one knows your tummy better than you.

Do I need to make a deposit when booking with you?

Yes, to confirm your booking with me, a deposit is required – that way, your room is guaranteed, and I can get everything ready for your stay. The amount depends on the season and the type of offer:

  • In summer, it’s usually between € 150 and € 250 per room.
  • In winter, it’s typically between € 250 and € 500 per room.
  • For special offers, a deposit of 30% of the total price may be required – but of course, I’ll let you know in advance.

You can pay the deposit by bank transfer or via a secure payment link (credit card, PayPal or instant transfer). Here are my bank details:

Raiffeisenbank Saalbach
Hotel Glemmtalerhof
IBAN: AT25 3505 2000 0001 4928
BIC: RVSAAT2S052

If you cancel within the allowed time frame, I’ll refund the deposit via bank transfer – there’s just a € 10.00 processing fee per transaction. Or, if you prefer, I can simply keep the deposit in my system and credit it toward your next booking – no fees, no fuss. Just something to look forward to.

How long is the wellness area open?

My indoor pool and wellness area on the 4th floor – including relaxation rooms and panoramic views – are open daily from 7.30 am to 8.00 pm and accessible with your room key. You can swim, doze off, read a book or simply let your thoughts drift.

My two saunas, the steam bath and the infrared loungers heat up daily from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm– just right for some afternoon relaxation after hiking or skiing. And if the weather’s not playing along? I’ll happily turn up the heat a bit earlier on request – just let me know, and off we steam.

Are children allowed in the wellness area?

Yes, your little ones are welcome to join you in the wellness area – to splash around, relax and soak up the holiday mood. The sauna area, however, is reserved for adults and teens aged 14 and up, and only when accompanied by a parent. Why? Because it’s textile-free – and not exactly every child’s cup of tea.

How warm is your pool, actually?

My comfort zone sits at a cozy 29 to 30 degrees Celsius – just right to loosen up after a long hike or a wild day on the slopes. My indoor pool measures 10 meters long, 5 meters wide and 1.36 meters deep. That adds up to 68 litres of warm water bliss – or as I like to call it: 68 m³ of floating, breathing, and never-wanting-to-get-out kind of happiness.

Do you have spa slippers?

Absolutely – I’ve got spa slippers ready for you. You can pick them up anytime at my reception for a small fee of € 3.00. Perfect for a comfy stroll through the wellness area. Just slip in and switch off.

Can I use voice control to talk to you?

Oh yes – I’m all ears. If you’re on your phone, just tap the little microphone icon on your keyboard and start talking. Chatting instead of typing – faster, easier, and full of vocal flair. And if you want to ask me something directly (whispered or wild): “Ask the Glemmtalerhof” – I’m ready when you are. Go ahead, hit me with your questions.

What’s your phone number?

Want to give me a call? I’d love that! You can reach me anytime at +43 6541 7135. And if you’re already checked in, it’s even easier: just pick up your room phone and dial 200 or 77 – and I’ll be right there on the other end.

Do you have an elevator?

Sure – I’ve got two! Depending on where your room is located, I’ll gladly tell you at check-in which elevator gets you there most comfortably. And if you prefer counting stairs instead: my staircase takes you all the way from the basement up to the 4th floor – sporty, but doable.

Do you offer laundry service?

Absolutely – I’ve still got a real laundry room in-house, not just an app. For € 10 to € 20 (depending on the size of your laundry mountain), I’ll get your clothes clean and ready for public appearance again.

There’s a laundry bag waiting in your wardrobe – or you can grab one at the reception. Fill it up, drop it off, and relax. I’ll take care of the dirty work – and you can enjoy the day in fresh clothes… or none at all.

Do you have games to borrow?

Absolutely – I’ve got a little collection of board and card games ready for you. Classics, new favorites, and a few wildcards too. Just ask at the reception and let the fun begin. Who needs Wi-Fi when you’ve got a good old round of Uno?

I have three kids aged 3, 8 and 15. What do you offer to keep them entertained?

Easy – I turn the Glemmtalerhof into one big playground. Indoors, outdoors, and full of fun for every age. For the little ones up to around five years old, I have a cosy and colourful playroom on the first floor – soft, safe and full of toys to explore, build or (accidentally) knock over.

Right next to reception, you’ll find my club room with a play corner, bookshelves and a big TV – perfect for quiet family moments. And yes, the hotel bar is nearby, just in case the grown-ups are eyeing a well-deserved break.

Bigger kids and teens head down to the basement, where my teen game room awaits with table football, ping pong, billiards, giant Connect Four and three arcade machines for heroic pixel battles. Let’s just say: “One more round!” happens a lot down there.

And outside? That’s where the action really kicks off. My 1,000 m² hotel garden features a climbing wall, beach volleyball court, trampoline, outdoor ping pong table, a badminton lawn and a whole lot of fresh air to run wild in.

And for the older ones – like your 15-year-old – there’s plenty going on around the hotel too: hiking, biking, exploring or joining in on the cool summer events. Hinterglemm doesn’t sleep much in the summer. And even if it does, your kids won’t.

How big are your beds, actually?

Big. Comfy. Sometimes even round. And honestly – if you don’t sleep like a log wrapped in feathers with me, you’ve probably just had way too much fun. My double beds follow the classic Austrian style: 180 x 200 cm, with two separate mattresses – together, but with plenty of personal space. In my single rooms, you’ll find true comfort: from the classic 90 x 200 cm to Grand Lit beds measuring 140 to 160 x 200 cm. Perfect for stretching out diagonally – guilt-free.

Need even more room to dream? My Herz Royal Suites feature majestic 200 x 220 cm beds – that’s the royal league. In my kids’ rooms, it’s a mix: sometimes bunk beds, sometimes singles or sofa beds. And many rooms also come with extra or pull-out beds for little ones, spontaneous guests or favourite travel companions.

And if you’re after something truly unique: my Kuschelherz room features the legendary round stone pine bed. Yes, round – a proud 240 cm in diameter. And yes, made of stone pine. That much nest-like coziness? Only here with me. Bottom line: Whether square, round, royal or rustic – you’ll sleep well everywhere with me.

When do the bars open?

When are your bars open – and where can I grab a drink?

Good question. Short answer: Somewhere’s always open. Or almost. Or soon.

Our Hotel Bar opens daily from 3:00 PM, but only during the winter season. When the snowflakes are dancing outside, the glasses start clinking inside.
The Almbar gets going 6 nights a week from 8:00 PM – open end guaranteed, with Thursday off (for recovery – yours and ours).
And the legendary Schräglage? In theory, it’s open daily from 3:00 PM – in practice, it depends on the weather, vibe, and event calendar. Because great drinks need the right setting.

We like to keep things Glemmtalerhof-style: relaxed, spontaneous, and always with heart. When something’s happening, something’s open. Promise.

Do you have live music?

Oh yes – summer or winter, there’s regular live music with me! Sometimes down in the Schräglage, sometimes at the hotel bar – depending on the weather, the mood and the musicians’ groove. Sometimes it’s a DJ, sometimes it’s a guitar, sometimes both – but almost always at least once a week. Why? Because I love music. And let’s be honest: evenings just sound better with a soundtrack.

Want to know when it’s happening? Check with my reception, the guest app or on social media – and come join the rhythm!

Can I print something with you?

Of course. If you need to print a document, just email me the PDF to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. – and give my reception a quick heads-up. I’ll have it printed for you in no time. No red tape, just good old-fashioned service.

Do you offer ski lessons?

I won’t personally teach you how to ski – but I know someone who will, and they’re excellent at it: HELI’S Ski School. You’ll be in good hands and ready to hit the slopes in no time. Even better: when you book online, you get 5% off all ski courses and 10% off equipment rental. Just stop by my reception for your personal discount code “PartnerHELIS” – or head straight to the online shop where the code is already applied: https://www.skischule-saalbach.co/?rc=750.PartnerHELIS

So, buckle up those boots and get ready to carve!

How do I get my ski pass?

However, you like it. You can easily get your ski pass online via the ticket shop of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn cable cars – just click here: saalbach.com/skitickets

Or simply pick it up right here at my reception – as a special guest service: no standing in the cold, no queuing. Just stay warm and hit the slopes! And of course, if you prefer the classic way, you can always grab your pass directly at the valley station ticket desks. Your mountain, your choice.
